Ontario selects riders for Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships

The Ontario Equestrian Federation would like to congratulate the riders selected to represent the province at the upcoming Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships, which take place Sept. 13-15 in Calgary, AB.

Teams will be comprised of two junior and two senior riders representing Ontario in the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Reining. The following individuals have been short listed for the event:

Jumping

“The number and quality of riders who declared their interest to represent their province at this event was impressive,” says Dianne Graham, executive director of the Ontario Equestrian Federation. “We are looking forward to watching these up-and-coming riders in action when September comes.”

Recognized as a pilot project, the Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships is a collaborative event between the national and provincial sport organizations governing equestrian competition. A multi-discipline competition represented by Jumping, Dressage and Reining, it is a key event in the development of the next generation of national, international and world champions.
