Canadian Eventing Riders set to compete at North American Junior and Young Riders Championships

The Canadian Eventing Committee is pleased to announce the riders representing Canada at the 2014 Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Riders Championships. Presented by Gotham North, these Championships will be held July 15-20 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. Riders will compete for top honours in team and individual competition in two divisions-Junior One Star Championships (open to riders aged 14-18) and Young Rider Two Star Championships (for riders ages 16-21).

The North American Junior/Young Riders’ Championships are held annually under the rules of the Federation Equestre Internationale – the international governing body for equestrian sport. The 2014 competition hosts the Olympic disciplines of eventing, dressage and show jumping as well as FEI discipline of endurance. Many of the world’s top event riders began their careers at the NAJYRC.
