EC NCCP Competition Coach Cohort

Winter cohort is now full!

 

Ontario Equestrian is excited to bring a mentoring and certification opportunity to Competition Coach – English & Western candidates this winter!

Using a cohort working together in a virtual environment, candidates in the group will work together with experienced Coach Developers Danielle Yaghdjian and Barbara Newlands through the training and certification process. The cohort will kick off the training and mentoring process on January 17, 2023 and will work together until early May 2023.  

Requirements

Equestrian Canada Coach Status	Current EC Registered Coach Status
Learn to Ride	Completed English level 8, old English III, Pony Club B or Western level 4 and Intermediate Rider Basic Training.  Own or have access to Stable Management and Learn to Ride Manuals
Computer	Access to high-speed internet, video camera, microphone, Microsoft Word or document editor
NCCP Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation	Successfully completed through CAC
Understanding the Rule of Two eLearning module	Completed through CAC
Access to a facility	Riders, school horses and facility

Only 12 spots available. Selected applicants will be charged a registration fee of $620.00 +HST.
