This NCCP/EC workshop is highly recommended for anyone interested in further developing their understanding of the skill set needed for Instructors and Coaches. Resource material and workbook provided.


In two days you will work through four modules:


  • Making Ethical Decisions
  • Equestrian Training and Learning

A look at various learning and teaching styles

Group activities to apply theory to the equestrian environment

  • Analyzing Beginner Equestrian Performance

Developing a process for analyzing performance for various disciplines

Finding the root of the issue and discussing various exercises to help the athlete improve

  • Planning an Equestrian Lesson

Understanding Long Term Equestrian Development

Planning lessons

Appropriate progressions for skill and age of athlete


Designed as training for those working towards their Instructor of Beginner, Competition Coach or Competition Coach Specialist Certification, this workshop is highly recommended for all disciplines, coaches and instructors.

10 hours of Professional Development for Certified Coaches and Instructors, it is highly recommended if you took the old NCCP multi-sport introduction course and are mentoring new instructors and coach candidates.
