Ontario Equestrian Dressage Development Series Qualifying Competition

The Ontario Equestrian Dressage Development series intends to promote young dressage horses on their competitive pathway through qualifying classes and a season-end championship.

Goals:

• To develop Ontario horses to be able to compete at an appropriate level for their age
• To accustom riders and coaches to develop young horses with a steady and well laid out schedule over the summer series
• To offer a final championship as a goal

Divisions:

• 4 & 5 year olds / Open / 1st Level 1 Test
• 5 & 6 year olds / Open / 2nd Level 1 Test
• 8-10 year olds / FEI PSG Test

The special classes will have enhanced conditions, including two judges and a warm-up training ring.

Qualifying Competitions:

• Royal Canadian Riding Academy | Gold Dressage | May 27-29
• Caledon Equestrian Park | Caledon Dressage | June 3-5
• Royal Canadian Riding Academy | Dressage CDI | June 10-12
• Angelstone Tournaments | Caledon Dressage CDI | July 22-24

The Ontario Equestrian Dressage Development Series Championship will be at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy Ontario Championships on August 24-28.

Horses and Riders wishing to qualify for the Championship must ride in at least two of the listed competitions, of which one competition must be one of the designated CDI competitions. All qualified horses must compete in the final championship barring unforeseen circumstances.
