The Ontario Equestrian Federation is introducing a new training opportunity for athletes and coaches on April 11-12 that will teach course design principles in the classroom, with demonstrations under saddle to improve performance on course.
Led by a team of certified professionals, this clinic offers a unique perspective behind the principles of course design in relation to the athlete and coach. The clinicians include:
Sally Sainsbury – EC Competition Coach Specialist and Certified EC Course Designer
Chris Brandt – Certified EC/FEI Course Designer
Evie Frisque – Certified EC Judge and EC/FEI Course Designer
This new clinic hosted at the Forest Hill Training Centre in Caledon, ON. will include hands-on training and demonstrations to build skills in:
- Walking courses
- Analyzing courses
- Analyzing a rider on course – identifying strengths and weaknesses
- Building courses and tests to train for fun and competition
