New horse campground offers discount for OEF members

Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area, located north of Paisley, ON. will begin welcoming horses to its campsite this summer and OEF members will save 10% on bookings.

In the works are 42 campsites for equestrians, which are spacious and treed and will offer corrals. Plans are also underway for a 100’x200’ event ring that will be available for clinics and workshops and for campers to warm up their horses before heading out on the trail.

There are over 15 kilometres of riding trails in mature woodlands for campers or for day rides, with plans to expand over the season. There are also several other trails within a short distance, making Saugeen Bluffs a great week-long destination.

This 200-site campground offers canoe and kayak rentals, a park store, recreation building, picnic shelters, showers, laundry facilities and planned activities. Located approximately four kilometres north of the Village of Paisley and only a 15-minute drive from the sandy beaches of Lake Huron, there are plenty of things to do off-site, as well.

The grand opening is scheduled for June 4. Please call 519-367-3040 or email c.billings@svca.on.ca for more details.
