Averie has been riding for over nine years and has found strength, confidence, and a deep sense of peace through her connection with horses. Despite the challenges of Cerebral Palsy, she has shown remarkable dedication to her riding, working at two barns to help fund her show season. With her trusted horse, Jack, by her side and the support of her coach, Melanie Colwell, Averie is determined to compete in the Hunter division this year, aiming for success in the 2-foot division. Melanie has witnessed Averie’s incredible work ethic, perseverance, and passion for the sport, making her a deserving recipient of this bursary.
